Albany House B and B is a warmly inviting turn of the century country home about 15-30 minutes from Monroe, Janesville and Madison on 3 beautiful acres of landscaped grounds, gardens and mature trees along the Sugar River and Sugar River State Bike Trail.  Inn offers six unique guest rooms, art and antique filled rooms, a distinctive decorating style, hearty full breakfasts and homemade bakery, plus an abundance of local activities.  The inn can accommodate groups.

The Badger State Bike Trail runs from Madison WI to Freeport IL and connects with the Military Ridge Trail, Sugar River Bike Trail, Capitol City Bike Trail and the Cameo Rose Victorian Country Inn Bed and Breakfast. 
Hike the Ice Age Trail – 1000-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail joins the Badger Trail near Basco and a mile from the Cameo Rose. It is now part of the Dane County portion of the Ice Age Trail and will connect with other segments of the Ice Age Trail when completed. The Green County segment begins in Belleville.

Elroy-Sparta State Trail – Enjoy a 32-mile rails to trails converted bike trail with a graded limestone surface. You will need a flashlight through the old stone tunnels. Daily or annual pass required for bikes.

La Crosse River State Trail – Enjoy a 22-mile rails to trail and graded limestone surface. Trail runs parallel to the LaCrosse River through prairies, farmlands, forests and wetlands.

Sparta Butterfest – Enjoy all the local festivals in Sparta, their parades, and other events.
